Five years ago, the Open Door Women's Shelter opened its doors, embarking on a journey of hope, healing, and empowerment. It's not just a building; it's a beacon of new beginnings for women and children escaping homelessness. And now, we're rolling out the blue carpet for our community to celebrate this incredible milestone!

On February 15th, Open Door Women's Shelter will be abuzz with warmth and joy as we commemorate five years of invaluable service. Here’s what’s in store:

  • Morning Glory: Open House Tours at 11:00 am Walk through the spaces where countless stories of resilience unfold every day.

  • Afternoon Affair: Anniversary Event at 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Revel in the camaraderie of supporters, volunteers, and the lives touched by Open Door.

  • Ribbon-Cutting Renaissance: A New Chapter at 12:00 pm With the Washington Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce, we'll inaugurate a promise for the future.

  • Light Refreshments: A Taste of Community until 1:00 pm Enjoy delightful bites that are just like the support we offer: simple, nourishing, and from the heart.
